The ideal would be to accompany your glasses with a special dessert, have you ever heard of typical sweet tortelli from Piacenza?
A typical Christmas cake of the city of Piacenza, the birthplace of Logotec, are in fact its delicious sweet tortelli - also called "Turtlitt" in dialect. With a typically crescent or square shape, they know how to enchant both adults and children, thanks to theirs delicious shortcrust pastry and delicious and delicious filling! Preparing them is very simple:
Ingredients for the shortcrust pastry
- 400 grams of flour 00
- 150 grams of butter
- 120 grams of sugar
- 1 egg and 2 yolks
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- a pinch of salt
Ingredients for the filling
- 300 grams of boiled chestnuts
- 150 grams of fruit mustard
- 100 grams of plum jam
- 50 grams of chopped dark chocolate
For coverage
- White wine
- powdered sugar
Let's start making the filling: peel the chestnuts and boil them in water. Subsequently, as soon as they have cooled down a bit, peel them and blend them together with all the other ingredients: stuffed with your tortelli is ready! Easy right?
Now let's create the pastry: it is enough to knead vigorously all the ingredients on a pastry board. With a rolling pin then spread the dough obtained, cut rectangular strips and place small amounts of filling on them; then close the tortelli by turning the other half of the pasta over them. To make them even more special, close them using a knurled wheel: they will have an extra touch!
Finally, let's bake them in the oven at 180 degrees for about minutes; once cooled, soak them in white wine and finish them with a sprinkling of icing sugar. And here you are ready the your delicious Christmas tortelli!
